HOW TO APPLY THE PAINT

Painting with Standard paints with turpentine dilution

Untreated/even wooden surfaces and plaster. Semi gloss.

1. Dilute the primer paint as follows: 35% paint/ 50% raw linseed oil/ 15% terpentine.
   Apply the primer paint well. Drying time varies according to the weather circumstances.
   Allow 3-4 days in warm and dry conditions. The surface should feel dry and slightly rough when the hand is drawn along it.
   Note: On resinous wood the amount of raw linseed oil can be reduced and the amount of terpentine increased.
2.  Apply a second coat using undiluted paint on smooth surfaces. Dilute the paint with 10-20% terpentine on rough surfaces. Allow 1-2 days to dry.
3. Apply the final coat using undiluted paint. For a more even distribution, dilute the paint with approx.5% boiled linseed oil.

Repainting previously linseed oil painted surfaces or surfaces painted with other types of paint

Scrape away any remaining loose paint and wash the surface. Prime any clean wooden parts according to 1. Apply the paint according to 2 and 3.
