Flooring indoors

Wooden flooring can be painted using linseed oil paint in the same way as joinery indoors.

A wooden floor painted with linseed oil paint is hardwearing, beautiful and durable. However, remember to avoid placing heavy furniture or walking on it for at least one week after painting it. The paint hardens progressively. Unglazed floor tiles or other stone material can be treated using oil and varnish with very good results.
