Glazing with Standard paints

Untreated joinery surfaces. Matt/semi gloss finish. Prepare any planed joinery by brushing with water and allow it to dry. Sand off any grain-raising on the wooden surface. Mix a simple glaze oil consisting of equal parts of linseed oil and turpentine. Use this “semi-oil” freely when diluting the standard paint. Make a trial application. Apply one coat of glaze. Allow it to dry. Surfaces exposed to wear and tear should be treated afterwards using varnish/lacquer.
