HOW TO APPLY THE PAINT
Linseed oil paint indoors
These directions are intended as a guideline. Several variations are presented. Note that the instructions below are based on an untreated, non-oiled substrate. Using linseed oil paint requires a degree of know-how and experience and the finished result depends very much on the skill of the user. Pig bristle brushes of good quality are recommended for applying the paint.

Painting with Vit Puts (White Plaster). Ready diluted brilliant white plaster paint. Matt-semi gloss
Tips
- insulate any absorbing areas/fillings using a thin application of shellac solution to avoid matt blotches.
- To obtain a higher gloss finish on joinery add 5-10% Ottosson’s Linseed oil varnish to the final coat.
