Wooden building 1920

This house in Småland was repainted in 1993 using our linseed oil paints. The façade area of the house measuring 250 sq. m. was given two applications. The total area of 500 sq. m. only required 24 litres of paint!
The paint was sufficient to cover 21 sq. m. per litre! When considering price always calculate it per square metre.

Stairway

Linseed oil paint can of course be applied on plaster surfaces. For the renovation work on the old school building in Malmö during its transformation to student residence Xantippa, the objective was to use original types of paint. The building was constructed in the nineteen fifties. Linseed oil paint was often used on stairways as it gave a more durable surface.
The work was carried out by Målericompagniet in Malmö.

French windows

This is a detail from a newly built residence. The grey façade is only one application of specially mixed linseed oil paint. An excess of linseed oil was used in the paint so that the amount of oil would be sufficient to both penetrate the wood substrate and give a matt finish. The windows have been painted using three applications of our Falu Red linseed oil paint.

Wooden boat

The owner of this wooden boat dating from 1923 used 10 applications of raw linseed oil. The oil was allowed to dry for 3 weeks after which 3 applications of our white linseed oil paint were used  from the waterline upwards (according to our directions for outdoor application). We received the following comment: “Unbelievably economical paint. I bought 2 litres but only used 0.5 litres for 3 applications x 10 sq.m!”.
